Concerns to stay
In an environment where the present day is fast, here are some of the concerns that have come to stay:
We should take advantage of the renewable polemics generated by the increase in the electricity bill and make the model public. Yes, I know that modern renewables are polluting, but be careful to turn them into useful fosilism fools. It is now the former lacationists who intend to delay the energy transition as much as possible. What is at stake is to change the model in the most planned way possible or to do it in a chaotic way.
Yes, the mantra of digitalization anywhere, but digitalization is “today’s bread and tomorrow’s hunger” (literally). Where do we extract so much copper, nickel or neodymium? The landlords of today are the ones who believe that the Earth is infinite within a few decades.

Moreover, to those of us who live in Hego Euskal Herria, the war in Ukraine has shown us that Algeria is our main supplier of gas, but its gas reserves have decreased considerably. Perhaps in a few years' time we will be told that they have weapons of mass destruction... The worst thing is that the climate has disappeared from the new changes, as if it were not the other side of the energy coin. Furthermore, it seems that a hypothetical nuclear war has opened the door to the idea of killing millions of people. Why worry about climate change? Really, I'm flirting with the Borrell level ...
In the meantime, the disobedience actions of the scientists last week demanding measures from the institutions seemed as admirable as surrealists. Can you imagine that, I don't know, with COVID-19?
The transport strike has shown that our basic needs also depend on oil. The hakes of globalization, you know, and the diesel crisis is drawing our attention… what will the protests and rebellions of the future look like? Reality is too complex to analyze with traditional dichotomous schemes. They will forgive me, but I think the myth of the all-powerful Proletarian Revolution is to oversimplify things.
Before the shortage comes, we should put limits on products such as petrol. We know that the elites do not relinquish their privileges with sportiness, but in a Europe in which liberal consensuses are being overtaken from the right, the evolution of the workers who represent freedom in motorhome thousands of kilometres, or of many of the lefties we have “the need” to travel to the other end of the world, remains to be seen.
In short, how far are we prepared to tighten the rope?
