Anxo Lugilde is what I have followed from time to time a journalist, especially to know more about Galicia, of course, being Galician, but also in Catalonia, without losing the idea of Galician liver, where he has lived for many years and has worked in the newspaper La Vanguardia or in the radio RAC1, and in PrPública, in November. I would say that he was one of the few who once strangled President Feijoó, better known as Moderate. This has, of course, caused it to be removed from the official media in Galicia. Not only, but also, sometimes it was done as it disappeared, six months, fifteen, seven weeks at the end. Until his appearance he says that he had an old friend, who has not gone by his side for the last thirty years, who in the last four years has knocked down three times: depression, which the Anglo-Saxon people call the black dog.

He has now included in a book this experience, in three languages, Spanish, Catalan, Galician, the journal he cured in a health center in Barcelona during the months that passed. An illustrative book, because depression is an unknown disease, even though thousands upon thousands of people suffer it. Like a pathology of any other part of the body, nearsightedness, diabetes or tuberculosis, but not the leg, or the heart, that affects the head. The disease of the soul, expressed in the body through chemical mechanisms, eliminating the very desire to live: not in vain, is the main cause of suicide, the first of the unnatural deaths. The brain works against you. And then comes shame, stigma, guilt, not understanding, not accepting, ignoring. Possibly, in the case of artists, writers, intellectuals, the component that seems to accompany the character, is different in the case of a journalist. And, I know, we go from talking about humor to talking about depression. But what you want, it's not me, it's life. In addition, one can also laugh at depression, as Lugaritz shows us in his performance, from time to time, in the midst of the tragedy.
