Digital management
- Digital space has stuck to our lives as if it were a layer of oil on the sea. But you can still give it the option to shut it down in many areas, many of them related to free time: reading a book, talking to friends, practicing some sport... although gradually they are also becoming spaces conquered by digitalisation.
In the field of management, however, there are so many benefits associated with digitization, both for individuals and for organizations, that today we do not understand non-digitized management. This paradigm shift shows that the scenario changes. And before it was the digital alternative, today is the main road.
We adapt to this path some faster, others slower.
In the last year I have worked on digital management with people in situations of exclusion. They are well aware that most of the efforts they have to make must be carried out in the digital sphere (related to health, subsidies, finance, education...), as the alternatives are reduced. But they struggle to learn on their own.
Pulling for the reasons, I've realized that many of these mobiles are not ready for transparent digital management, and they often don't have their own schedule. They have calendars, files, keyboards, cameras -- associated with the clouds of big corporations. Users of these mobiles also don't know where their content is: they don't distinguish the local memory from the cloud.
In the end, the devices conquered by so many interests confuse people. The current digitalization model incorporates in our daily lives a work: the management of the device. To do this, on the one hand, we must understand what technologies and interests drive the device and, on the other, learn to manage it well to take care of them to the extent we want it.
