The Basques must put our collective effort into the organization of the Basque Country as a free and democratic nation. And we're not on that path yet.

What we are inside the house and what we are in front of the world. These are the two premises to respond. Both are interrelated.

When it comes to defining our collective character, the Basque is undoubtedly the nucleus of the identity of the Basques. If we are to be able to organise a nation of our own, the Basque Country is therefore the key to our nationality. From there, we are able to make the profound changes that are essential in this problematic world to make our contribution. Nowadays, the Basque community is a community scattered in different territories or that, despite being subjected to different and strange political structures and organizations, is capable of promoting and constructing renewable social models. Because we don't have a mortgage on anachronistic monarchies or rigid institutions. And especially because in the last few decades we have opened the way to the most progressive proposals, thoughts and actions that exist in the world.

It is time to draw the initiative on our own. The Basque Country is our only free territory, he once said that they had it in prison, one of us. There is a starting point in the construction of the free nation. Little freedom is better than closed jail, all right. A form of autonomy is always something, in front of the total centralized enclosure, as it is. Political parties are necessary to offer a mold and a path to the different and/or opposing ideological currents of our country, yes. But with all of them, we are not going to make great progress on the road of making Euskal Herria a free nation, if we do not define our own strategy for this and develop a shared initiative in this regard. The most beautiful fruits and flowers that we plant in the garden of the neighborhood will never be aware, as they will always serve to beautify the land of others, as long as we see how we take plants of our own land. We have long been put into our orchards an invasive herbaceous that rejects and depresses the most beautiful flowers in the area. That is what is happening to us now, indeed.

The Basque is our free territory, let us work the Basque in all the territories of the Basque Country, even in the diaspora. Let's build a free nation centered on Euskera. With total determination. The reason is that the members of Arnasa Dezagun ask that the Basque country become a common good for all boys and girls, and that the Vasco-speaking boys and girls do not disperse. At this moment it is essential to strengthen and consolidate the spaces of use of the Basque Country and the Basque speakers. At the moment we must strongly demand that the Basque Country become an official language in each and every one of the different territories of the Basque Country.

What we've talked about at the beginning is what we are at home and in front of the world. At the moment we are offering the world a very diffused image of Euskal Herria. The world doesn't know what we are, where we are, what we want to do and how. Perhaps you know that in our lands we have beautiful landscapes, that we offer spectacular museums and excellent gastronomy, and in the definition of foreign tourism enthusiasts we can be the basques bondissants. On all the business cards they send abroad, our rulers forget that Euskera is the most precious asset we have to offer to the world. We must radically change the landscape of our peoples so that Euskera is the identity document of this people.
