Jonan
I am writing this text on 3 October. LABI is still in force while I'm visualizing the lines. On Tuesday, suicide is expected and Basque society, as in Navarre and Iparralde, will take a step towards the future on the road to a more normal abnormality.
And so things, from this column, I propose to Euskal Herria (especially the part of the CAV) to participate in a giant porch: What will be Jonan Fernandez's next chair?

The ruthless citizens we have placed between the Papists and the Negationists have missed the social demand to strengthen, care and develop public health in the last year and a half: some have put the focus of the fight to any extent (but above all that of the kiss and the vaccine), others have taken any action and have made the criticism an excuse to send to the balance of the Deniers.
And so, at the CAPV we have had to be Jonan Fernández, coordinator of the scientist LABI, adviser to the lehendakari and responsible for the document Biziberri, which gathers the different scenarios of the pandemic. And I think it's really been a very good candidate for the role that LABI has had.
Because LABI has been, above all, a propaganda office of the war against the virus. And a people at war cannot accept pessimism, despair, no doubt. It is indifferent what measures have been taken, whether what has been said before and what has been done are two or whether the data have been manipulated (necessary)... The list is so long: (When the CAPV did not have) the effectiveness of the tests and kisses is the basis of what there are a few months after they were rated as negligible; when the vaccination started it was the slowest community in the Spanish state and sold the strategy of the second dose; hide the situation of the residences; increase the socio-political control and puritanism of society in the face of the war against the virus...
That is why the suitable candidate was Jonan Fernández, an activist against the Leitzaran motorway, a HB councillor, responsible for Elkarri Baketik and an adviser to the lehendakari: the virus may not be so much, but he is well aware of Basque society. Because, while the role of politicians is to think about how to address problems, isn't it more important to invent how to explain/sell to society?
Now that Basque society has no urgent need for Jonan to need it, I wish him a quieter chair.
