We know oblivion, because we have had memory; when we meet quietly we know that we have forgotten something. What is it?
Today, more and more, we live in a dark night; ours is a society that has stopped believing, that has stopped dreaming, that turns its back on not seeing real reality. We were told that we were dumb, that we were worthless, that we did everything wrong, wild, ugly, black, white, red, yellow, cunning, that we were poor, and we believed ourselves. Little by little we felt empty, we filled ourselves with fear, everything was distorted, we disconnected from the group, from the tribe, from the animals and from the forest. We lost our power. They told us about the future, about security, they created the punishment and the prize, they imposed the job of breeding to live. They plunged us.

Our unfolding has been a process of years, decades and centuries; there is nothing more to do with how ancient and millenary cultures have remained. Ancient wisdom was ridiculed and stigmatized, as in Tawantinsuyun (Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Peru and the original name of Bolivia queching), mercilessly imposing the law of “civilization”, the law of god and men, denying and removing them from the ground. Their people were destroyed by their cultural references. They eliminated the deep sense of human relationships, with ancestors and with nature. The individuality of a person does not exist in isolation, as it only develops in function of the group and the place where each person is integrated.
We are a painful society, we feel sick and isolated from the environment, and it is precisely this lack that causes the wounded, the disease of the industrialized societies of our West.
In our condition as wounded, we bury the essence of life, and the activities that fulfill us and those that teach us the cure seem silly. What are we doing with this world? What do we dream of if we take ourselves to the void? Are we awake? Do I sleep? Are we alive or dead? How far should we go to remind ourselves? How many generations do we have to heal? What story does it take to undo? Should we adapt to a bitter goal and despair or dance the guillotine as a transforming element? Or will it be possible to recover the gifts and talents that led us to discover the first fire that once illuminated humanity?
