On a journey full of experience, we are accumulating loads, proof of this is Dead. The dance show created by the choreographer Judith Argomaniz talks about human life, but above all about the experiences of women.
Death, freedom, apparent and burdens are the headaches that contribute to the central theme. Every person lives infected with past patterns and beliefs and bombards us with fictional worlds that make us believe in sophisticated people. We live in an ongoing attempt to achieve the security we want.
Show Dead When:
22 May.
Where: Teatro Félix Petite de Vitoria-Gasteiz.
Understanding all of the above helps us, allows us to transform and makes us “free” or freer. In this understanding process we are immersed by Garazi Etxaburu, Paula Parra, Miren Lizeaga and Leire Otamendi, members of the company Lasala. Along with them, the narrator Puy Barral appears on the stage and with his help he offers us the keys of what each interpreter lives in the moment.
The protagonists of the show appear on stage both individually and collectively. We start the work with a series of group movements and one by one we will decipher what the roles and experiences of each one will be.

They offer ballet, contemporary dance, pilates movements and yoga postures. Thus, they define the life and personality of each character, some are stronger, others more solitary...
Long live life, this contemporary and interesting proposal offers diverse experiences and realities of everyday life. In a sterile world full of appearances, nothing is casual and understanding that empowers us, directs us to make decisions and leaves us to be true ourselves.
The idea that we in the dance world often repeat is that dance is ephemeral. The Elhuyar dictionary gives as a counterpart to "ephemeral" English: ephemeral, destructive, perishable, ephemeral, ephemeral, perishable, perishable, ilaun. I don't remember who I first read that idea... [+]
