Enjoying culture is a stimulus and a joy for these days, especially thanks to the program of the Villasound festival. But, despite being a very attractive option, I had to travel with the hand brake, sitting in the chair and unable to dance. On Thursday we were able to see La Rebe and J Martina. In the environment created by these two intimidating proposals, we were comfortable and warm. Particularly pleased with the Larrabetzu proposal, despite the coldness of the room, the bad sound and the distances to be maintained.
Festival Villasound
When: 6, 7 and 8 May.
Where: Bilbao.
Friday was the day of Eddie Circa and the Chill Mafia. The proposal for a single song of protest and guitar from the previous one surprised me, as well as the warm and bustling support it had from many of the fans who met. As the action of the locals approached, the tension could be felt in a rising atmosphere, a stimulating and exciting tension. When DJ Sara Goxua's warm-up session began, energy became uncontrollable. The desire for dances, screams, etc. were inexpugnable. The concert ended up singing the 31014 hymn unanimously between the group and the public, with the lights on and the sound cut off, was a magical collective rite to exorcise diseases.
On Saturday I was unable to enter the concert of La Trinidad and VVV due to capacity constraints. I don't know the first ones, but I want VVV. I'm fascinated by his beautiful mix of post-punk and techno. His latest work, Escama, and his remedies, The Lost Dances, have helped me overcome the atmosphere of inaction that has marked this time. Perhaps better not to enter the concert and stay in the street. It may be better not to have to repress the urge to dance, not to face frustration on the third consecutive day.
We will meet again to dance as if we were not afraid of death. If you miss the Enge War, you just have to dance. We pray for the fire that protects us to laugh at what is going to die. The sunset and the sunrise appear at the same time. We will join our friends and brothers, the strangers, we will merge with them. Friendship and collectivity. That's all I want.
