Democracy cannot make its way in Spain. It is an ancestral issue in the history of the Spanish State, from the creation of the State to the present... To offer a change and to make an adaptation is the way all Spanish parties act when they come to government.
What or who is hitting the road? The powers and entities that underpin the State itself. Let's look at the institution of monarchy, which should be a residue of history in this 21st century. In fact, in the surrounding villages, the monarchy was removed and deposited in the landfill of history a long time ago: France, Italy, Greece and Portugal. In Spain, on the contrary, the Royal House of the Bourbons has been in the head of the state for over three centuries and not because of its merits. The Spanish bourbons, unlike any other country, have been resurrected five times and reestablished in the reign as renewed pillars of the aged state: Philip V first, in 1700; Fernando VII twice, in 1808 and 1814; Alfonso XII in 1874, with the objective of ending the short program of the First Republic; Juan Carlos I, chosen by Franco himself in 1975; and the last until now, his son Felipe VI in 2014.
Once again, the old institution of the Bourbon monarchy is in crisis in the Spanish State, with which the Spanish Army, the Civil Guard and the justice system have long accompanied an endemic crisis of legitimization and functioning.
"The so-called progressive coalition government of the PSOE and the United Nations can once again lift the symbol of democratic change in the state"
The official doctrine stated that the Spanish State after the Franco regime was to be renewed and democratized. During the transition, the new matches created by former Falangist Adolfo Suárez (UCD and CDS) took the symbol of change, but his adventure ended in the so-called tejerazo. Later, the PSOE of Felipe González appeared in the name of Spanish socialism, which carried in the program of change the republic, federalism, non-slip and maintenance outside the NATO bloc, and the self-determination of peoples. Look, since today, at what was left of this socialist change.
When the fascination of those early socialist attempts was thwarted, what appeared behind the curtains of the different governments of felipism was not a promised change: corruption, dirty war, murder, systematic torture, cruel prison policy, revolving doors and the excessive enrichment of the authorities. All of them paved the way for the neo-Nazi right-wing government, and PP governments did nothing but deepen corruption and obscure state practices.
After all, the so-called progressive coalition government of the PSOE and the UN Podemos has been set up. He has once again raised the symbol of democratic change in the state, but with a year of government, he has not used this serious state crisis as an opportunity to push for democratic change. On the contrary, it has chosen to keep institutions in serious crisis in favour of the Bourbons, in defence of the dark Civil Guard, or to maintain the justice system. We have once again seen the State, which is deteriorating with every crisis and which the governing party is subject to it.
The Basques can be a free and happy people. Society, identity, deep-rooted language, history, tradition, culture, geographical location, territory, resources, education, modernity, science and thought are factors that favor this possibility.
We can be a free people, yes, but not the Spanish and French State that has been put on us. We have to organize an independent state in Euskal Herria. It's not easy, but there's a path that leads us to it. The same road as in Catalonia is currently being seriously attempted. We Basques take over ourselves. Put it within the framework of democracy. Building and undertaking a strong popular movement following a consensual strategy of free will.

I received your e-mail in personal mail on the strike portals. At first, like many others, I thought it was to let you know what options we have in the face of the strike. But no, the e-mail received was a political and communicative movement against the strike.

This weekend I've been thinking about the word 'aesthetic' in relation to a phrase said by a friend: “This work is aesthetic.” I have studied the etymology of the word aesthetic, it seems that its meaning was originally perceived through the senses, and it was later associated... [+]
In recent years, the concept of industrial policy has reappeared strongly at various levels. The organization that was the hammer of neoliberalism, the International Monetary Fund, today insists that markets have been pressured to allocate resources efficiently and solve these... [+]
The other day in Bilbao, I met a friend at the Bira bar. We were very happy at the Tar and I said: “Of course, since you’re Guipúzcoa, hahahaha.” And he insisted that he was not Guipuzcoan. Without me understanding it, I kept saying, “Ah! Is it not? You were born in New... [+]

We are in the midst of a world imperialist offensive led by the Western bourgeoisie. The form that the imperialist offensive has taken is that of war, with all its variants: economic war, cognitive and cultural war, lawfarr; and, of course, military war. Western imperialism has... [+]
I just saw a series from another sad detective. All the plots take place on a remote island in Scotland. You know how these fictions work: many dead, ordinary people but not so many, and the dark green landscape. This time it reminded me of a trip I made to the Scottish... [+]

And for another year, the unions have organized prefabricated strikes for us. And we, individually, will decide whether or not to join the strike, without the need for any assembly at the school.

Life surrounds everything, it is limited and fragile. To live good lives, it seems to me that the body knows what to do, while the mind, although it knows (when it is well informed), often sees the body deliberately silence. In this silence the mind opens itself to relations... [+]
