Every new book that Garcés brings out is a feast. The last one is Escola d’apprentices, which leads us to wonder about education, because asking how we want to educate means asking how we want to live. All human beings are apprentices, more than students, without the need to be in a regulated school. What can we learn from each other? The challenge is for everyone to be able to think for themselves, together with others, about the problems of each era. And to get there, real teachers, don't say "do like me," but "do with me." Let's take the risk of learning together.
The school, therefore, as the main educational center, is not only a place to learn how to get up early or do anything in exchange for a prize, but a place to learn what emerges from the interaction between teachers and students, as a society, as a whole, to assume the debate about knowledge.
