Four albums you may not have heard in 2020
I like to look last year, because it allows me to know jewelry that I didn't know. I will make you four album proposals that have come out in few (or none) lists a year for one reason or another.
H30 (Gaztelupeko Hotsak, jazz) In the project we have the Hasier Oleaga battery, pianist Sorkunde Idigoras and saxophonist Julen Izarra. Although the name suggests the trio Oleaga, three artists have signed songs and given variety to the play. From the first song I would highlight contrasts, from the rhythmic parts to the great changes in moments of intensity and tranquility. Thanks to the nuances added by each of the musicians, they have achieved the quality seal.
The Son of the Moon 1619 (Self-production, trap). Bermeano XSakara has offered a personal and intimidating job full of trap and hip-hop rhythms, although rhythms and songs have not suggested it to us. He wanted to tell his experiences from 16 to 19 years, approaching the problems of Basque adolescence in a fresh way. Production does not have an exceptional elegance, but at the same time it is not superb and each one takes us as a vehicle to explore their own insides. It is worth highlighting the color contributed by the collaborations of each song.

Sorm3 (Self-production, instrumental). The Basque guitarist and composer Julen Basterra Garmendia has uploaded a collection of eleven unpublished songs to Youtube on his own foot. All played on guitar. It has engraved them simply, with the materials that are available at home. 13 alone Angel Unzu or John Butler's Ocean go to the symphonic acoustic rockers of Extremoduro. Technically, it's terrible, and emotionally, nothing important: it touches a lot of atmosphere. Don't look for anything, put the whole drive and travel.
Red River Ride (Self-production, dream pop). Martin de Marte is the Marc de Marco de Zarautz. Zarauztarra made a gesture to the Canadian on the cover of his first album, and has been shown in the sound and in the textures. But influence doesn't mean he's made a copy and he's freely blended sounds of rock, jazz, indie and psychodelia, both in calm and moving songs. Chill out fresh, chorus guitarists and sleek dry batteries, all engraved on the premises by Martin Murua himself. You Better is the treasure of the Ulertuz album (and your video).
