Bearing in mind the final objective of the project that we have in hand, in strategic decision-making we must analyse how we can adequately use the resources that we have.

It is said that it is not possible to ask those who for years have played the role of experts in sports broadcasts to work the language they have as a communication tool, out of work. They say that they do not receive a salary for speaking Basque quickly, but for being experts.
Nor can we ask athletes to go to the press conferences to make a little effort and to use a slightly more elaborate Basque. They're athletes, not Euskera teachers.
It is not understandable that, if the athlete interviewed also knows Spanish, he can only answer in Euskera.
It is not a good thing to offer sports broadcasts only in Basque, given that taxes are also paid by those who do not understand our language.
Finally, he said that it is unpleasant, among other things, to ask a journalist who has work thanks to the Basque Country, even if neither the camera nor the micro is present.

Perhaps you are one of those who make the strategic decisions. I don't. For me it is strategic to listen to my colleagues who speak in Basque; to know that the sports experts I have had by my side for years are ordering their Basque; not to have to ask in Spanish who knows Basque; to follow the sports broadcasts in my language; that the athlete who believes that we are a people speak with everyone. If we do not all put the ball at all times, leaving the future of the Basque Country in the hands of others, the strategies will be over.
