Errigora creates the Ageraldia group
- The new group was born with the intention of influencing the central and southern areas of Navarre. The Errigora initiative will take advantage of the network of contacts and sources of income to promote knowledge, use and attitudes in favor of the Basque Country.
Errigora is an association that links food sovereignty with the Basque Country. It sells food products from Navarra and receives money from agents working around the Basque country. The association had a concern: if the Euskarari Puzka campaign for the Basque Country were to be suspended, what would remain in the centre and in the south of Navarre?
Thus, they have decided to create a group that is oriented towards the Basque country and has recently been set up. Euskaltzales and Euskaldunes have met, many of them from the Euskaltegis and the Ikastola area. They have started work and in several localities the Ageraldia group has been presented. In addition to making the group known, they have asked them to reflect and analyze what needs they have to boost the Basque people. Tafallesa Haizea Lizarbe is one of the people participating in the Hearing and has explained to us that they expect petitions of all kinds. One people will want to prepare a career for the Basque Country; another, for its part, will ask for a training course. They can also surpass the size of the population and organize themselves into a wider geography. For example, they can prepare an EU summer course in Tudela. Small things on earth and big things in a broader geography. In fact, Errigora, in addition to earmarking economic resources, has a wide network of contacts outside Navarre. In November they will return to the people, they will gather proposals, they will identify needs, and the idea is to prepare a kind of agenda for 2020.
The group is willing to receive contributions from any sphere, sports, socioeconomic, cultural, leisure, affecting public institutions...
So far, Errigora has made financial resources available to AEK, Ikastolen Elkartea and Sortzen. The three actors are not directly involved in the hearing, but will be closely involved. From now on, the money raised through Errigora will be distributed in two directions, on the one hand, as AEK Ikastolen Elkartea and Sortzen will receive so far, and on the other, the Ageraldia group will receive it to meet the demands of the peoples.
