We have to reclaim the scientific aspect of the Olithic P. In these times when politicians jump from one election to another they have become dealers of fables, we must take a deeper and more detailed look at the way in which collective coexistence is organized.
Let's go to the concrete. This Spanish State, called democracy, is today a real corporation, a lockdown with a compact and hierarchical structure. The will of nations and peoples cannot have a democratic influence on this corporation. The main internal rules are immovable, and all the paraphernalia and the instruments of the State itself legitimize violent imposition.
How do we deal with a corporation in which all members impose irrefutable fundamentalist dogmas? What value can the elections have, for example, if all parties display similar behaviour on core issues?
The example of Catalonia is too significant; making a reasonable analysis, anyone can see that Catalan independence wants to go down the path of democracy in order to achieve its legitimate objectives. Well, this corporation called Spain denies this possibility and that denial is also shared by all the agents who are part of the corporation and feel. They are radically opposed to the democratic path in Catalonia, not only the traditional state apparatus, not just some political parties or some concrete ideologies. All those who consider themselves Spaniards are against, denying Catalonia, in one way or another, the possibility of making a democratic path towards independence.
This is a serious problem. You can stand up for a government and change it through elections. A party, now dominated, can win tomorrow and get away from power. But how do we deal with a corporation in which all members impose irrefutable fundamentalist dogmas? What value can the elections have, for example, if all parties display similar behaviour on core issues?
Within this corporation, which is Spain, thoughts or attitudes about Catalonia will hardly change. The same is true of Euskal Herria, if we ever take the path of democracy at this point.
This is a reality that the nations that today are trapped in this corporation that we call Spain will have to take very much into account.
This complication, however great, is not the only one; the Spanish Corporation appears, moreover, integrated into another broader and more robust corporate structure called the European Union (EU). This interstate vaccination undoubtedly gives strength to Spain. Consequently, the EU itself, under normal democratic conditions, which should help Catalonia or the Basques, becomes a factor in practice in favour of Spain and against us.
What, then, should we do in our oppressed nations and peoples? To begin with, the appropriate strategies are based on the detailed analysis of this concrete reality, and do not build a castle in the air, representing possible “progressive governments” in the imagined change of that Spain. Furthermore, to take practical steps, even against the current, to build a democratic nation of its own; and to share strategies of democratic freedom among nations with the same problem, both within Spain and in Europe.

We learned this week that the Court of Getxo has closed the case of 4-year-old children from the Europa School. This leads us to ask: are the judicial, police, etc. authorities prepared to respond to the children’s requests? Are our children really protected when they are... [+]

We have renewed the dialogue in the secretariat of the faculty, for the most auspicious: they are far away, for their enrollment, the times when only the students came. The trend has changed for a long time, and parents – most notably mothers – are taking an increasingly... [+]
The argument of a syllogism has three propositions, the last of which is necessarily deduced from the other two. It is with this deductive logic that I can analyze, for me, the long and traumatic socioecological conflict in Carpinteria that is taking place in Navarre.

I don't want my daughter disguising herself as a Gypsy in the caldereros. I don’t want Gypsy children at my daughter’s school to dress up as Gypsies in caldereros. Because being a gypsy is not a disguise. Because being a gypsy is not a party that takes place once a year, with... [+]
