- Two women with extensive experience in indi-rock on a stage. They both wear short, black and scrambled hair, and they help their dress in the same dark colors. One of them speaks English and the other speaks Basque. Despite having a different origin, today they arrive with the intention of showing the connection and understanding between territories separated by the sea.
They have gathered for four concerts and it is the second stop this fall Thursday in Vitoria-Gasteiz. As people enter the Jimmy Jazz room, we can see that artists attract people of very different ages. On the one hand, there are college students who like Thursdays more than Fridays. On the other hand, those who prefer Fridays, but those who need a wind to relieve the tiring working days of the week.
They all dive between beers and kalimotxos, and meanwhile, Anari and Thalia Zed appear on the scene. Along with them, the Drake Azkoitiarra, Ander Mujika, Mikel Abrego and Mariano Hurtado are joined. Lack of knowledge and curiosity dominate the environment. People have approached with the intention of listening to how the collaboration between the two musicians develops.
To give the starting signal to the concert, they've chosen the song to warm up the musical instruments. After a welcome night between notes without words, two songs of Thalia are heard. Her powerful voice and her ability to play the guitar are uncovered. Next, Zubiak and Aingura Hegunak have joined the fundraising initiative.
The concert is based on the alternation of the songs of both, and the music has a great value. Anari is encouraged to sing in English, becoming the great collaborator of Zedek. We got to the end of the concert almost without pauses or words. The Boston guy stays alone in front of the audience and offers two songs alone, fascinating and calm.
Anari and the rest of the musicians reappear in a calm atmosphere. On this occasion he refers to the lion that appears in the t-shirt he is wearing. This is a girl named Ángela who, faced with an ailment she suffers, invites the festival for special diseases to be held on 28 November under the slogan Be with me. He advances that there will be Gari, Jon Basaguren, Libe and he and encourages us to go to the solidarity concert.
