The beginning of the course is usually a little chaotic: the return to work or schools, meetings, winter jobs in the garden… The agenda can be a good tool to give order. And as in the last two years, Jakoba Errekondo and Antton Olariaga have not failed in this edition: The third edition of the book Agenda Lantzen has just come out of the furnace with ARGIA. It is already available in the regular bookstores and at the ARGIA Fair… Mugi! We've talked to Jakoba.
This is the third issue of the book The Lantzen Agenda. What's new?
Like the previous year, it is the work of the week that appears in it, organized by cycles. The agenda contains the information of the Moon and explains the work that must be done every month on the Crescent Moon and the Wandering Moon, divided into four sections: orchard, fruit trees, garden or balcony and forest. At the end of the book is general information on horticulture: how to gather plants, after what, how to use fertilizers and manure, how to make a system easy to make luxury or compost… What’s new this year? The agenda is dedicated to trees. As an introduction to each month, reference is made to a tree and it explains what is done with the wood of that tree, what it is used for.
The novelty, therefore, is that of trees and will be focused on wood.
Yeah, that's it. The drawings of the trees that Antton Olariaga has made are impressive: he has made images of each of them with drawings explaining the use of this tree.
Who is the agenda book addressed to?
It is ideal for anyone who works in these four sections: for anyone who wants to throw sticks in the forest, for those who want to know when to throw wood, for when to make twigs or seeds with flowers in the garden, for when to do work with the plants of the balconies… all for anyone who wants to know. Also for people who work in the garden: what they sow, what to plant every month… In general, the book is prepared for anyone who works with plants. That's why it's called The Earth of Plants!
Once again, Antton Olariaga draws you.
Yes, we adapt very well and their drawings adapt very well to the plants. He also knows how to express with people the ways of doing the work… What to say about those covers of trees per month? Each one is able to fit into a box!
