The management of imaginations in the events of the world has always been an important dimension of power. Now all the leading role is in fake news; however, the research centers created by Western governments, the media and universities to pursue them have not established what characteristics a fake news should have. Because concepts like fake news and post-truth are created as instruments of propaganda warfare, and thus creators prefer concepts to be vague; otherwise, if characteristics were well-defined, citizens could identify fake news that spreads from their governments and hegemonic media.

Building round lies is not usual because they are dangerous, if the price is revealed it can be very high for the media or for governments. But in a short number of cases they are used in exceptional situations or to promote special operations. Moreover, the most common manipulation tool is the control of the media agenda, deciding what to introduce, replacing new ones and others by replacing them. The hardest version of this mechanism is omissions.

The dissemination of information lacking verification due to the news content is a manipulative tool. In more sophisticated versions, so-called fuzzy checks are presented with general, contaminated or invented sources. It is now fashionable that the accusation that someone makes without evidence spreads to the four winds without contrasting the media with the abusive use of the terms of condition. For example, the media is publishing a lot of news about the unproven accusations about Julian Assange to dirty the journalist’s image. The Ecuadorian Government ' s accusations against him, made on the day of Assange ' s arrest, have been repeated by hegemonic means. Thus, they wanted to become a central element of the new attitude that Assange adopted to deal with the bullying that lived in the embassy. This is a classic of media manipulations: partial presentation of news filtered by interest. For example, a marginal element becomes central to concealing or distorting the core of the news and, at the same time, to dirty and stigmatize a person, a government or a country.

The core of the news became the source of the leak and not the content of the severe information that had been filmed. Since then, the strategy used by NATO spokesman Jamie Shea in the war in Yugoslavia has been that the saturation of information and news is occupied at all times by journalists during the alleged Russian intervention campaign. Meanwhile, there is no talk of contrasting and documented news, the documents filtered by Wikileaks and Snoweden are not thoroughly investigated: Bernie Sanders’ aggressive and dirty foreign policy, or that the world’s mobile phones, TVs and cars are being watched and controlled by the cia, but the problem is alleged Russian hackers and fake news. But what fake news? Recently, current US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo laughed: “I was the director of the CIA. We lie, we fool ourselves and we steal. We had full training courses. (This) It reminds you of the glory of the American experiment."
