No climate, change the system
Change the change. This is the motto of the International Conference on Climate Change held in Donostia-San Sebastián. For three days, local and international experts will meet to present “success stories and new business models” and discuss the challenges we have as a society in the face of the consequences of climate change. Among the main rapporteurs of the programme are Iñaki Arriola, Councillor for the Environment of the Basque Government, José Ignacio Asensio, Deputy for the Environment of the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa, Ignacio S. Galán, Presidente de Iberdrola, and Gonzalo Sáenz de Miera, Director of Climate Change at Iberdrola, Ernesto Gasco, Deputy Mayor of San Sebastián and Teresa Ribera, Minister of Ecological Transition of Spain. I have no doubt that you are going to fill many pages of mainstream media, but I wonder, are those characters and the companies and interests that they represent part of the climate problem or the solution?

Together with Cepsa, Cemex, ArcelorMittal, Viesgo and Portland Cements, these ten companies generate a third (28%). Great responsibility for climate change.
No to the climate, change the system! This is the slogan of climate justice throughout the mundo.Para overcoming the social model of capitalism we have to change the energy model and to make that energy transition we are fighting with forces and agents for and against. The changes that take place from below, we must bring together those who bring together many people and, fortunately, on that long journey there are allies in the world of institutions and companies. Initiatives like Change the change do not change anything... They're made to keep the same system going. Unfortunately!
