Immovable melodiacals
Jon Basaguren has a voice of his own and that cannot be questioned: a tonality of melancholy and convincing voice, a capacity to make round melodies, an elegant diction to sing in both Basque and English, and a good taste for singing songs.
I met Basaguren by publishing Neil Young's songs live; and he conveyed that he did it at ease. In the paired era, I got the first album by Izaki Gardenak, a music group for her songs, and I took a surprise with the songs and round songs that I found there. I had caught myself! This album went a long way back to the journeys made in the car.
Shortly afterwards, I got the second album wanting, but – I have to admit – at that time it left me cold. I didn't have the same feeling, and I kept the work somewhere – today is the one I want to get back to the day. Maybe it wasn't time, but the records and the songs are there, isn't it?
Now, in this round of the group I'm enjoying a lot of my new job All Oskol. Paradoxically, the soul of Neil Young has received me in the Man who opens my work and, through the American who speaks so many times, has immersed me in psychedelic pop, deep and introverted, almost mantra, with great pleasure. All Oskol has a stronger body: a band sound, a pop-rock with energy, elegant. The Iron Suit, on the other hand, has a more intriguing character (Cave in the Shadow) and is able to obtain TSOOL environments with repetitive bases and transparent guitars. In search of the reasons for storms is a poetry with a more rocker body, which crece.El future is a pop with a marked flavor to garage-sixties. On the bridge, it's soaked with transparency and pop psychedelia. The skin is a transparent pop, with no artifacts. And the Out piece has the pattern or brand of Transparent Beings, unscrutable.
Many say that this Quinteto does work as an O-pop or American, but I see the pop-rock orchestra closer, because of the nuances they create by building the songs, by the costumes and by the solid result obtained by these experienced musicians (Same Old, Sorkun, Ortophonk, Tom Tom Makuts…).
