A town that dances
- Because I don't have social life, every Saturday I get in front of television. Of course, I have our national TV on number one of the remote and every Saturday, while Sarah Connor is thanking for being the third of that name on the other channels, at ETB1 I find variations on a theme: people dancing – mariachis, habaneras, whatever it may be – in the town square. If he lived today, Voltaire would have to adapt his definition: “The Basques, a town that dances at all hours in ETB1.”
And well, to me, the Kutsidazu road bidea, like Luis or Koldo, physician or physician of Ixabel, I really like the playful joy of the people of the village, but hopefully that ETB1 bird will nest in ETB2. But we know perfectly well that that is not possible. And, to clarify things, perhaps we should turn around a question we frequently ask: Perhaps in ETB2 it is more productive than asking what can be done in ETB1 that cannot be done in ETB2. And why.
The dances of the town square will never go into ETB2 programming. No, at least, on Saturday's prime time. They will never go to the second channel, as ETB2 is a normal television that tries to meet the normal needs of a normal audience.
