The arrival of immigrants and refugees has been one of the protagonists of the summer news reports. It is not something new, the European Union has been misusing this reality for years. The increase in right-wing populism in elections is an indicator. In the times of hegemony of the extreme progressive center there is little talk of the profound factors to understand the success of the populist right. The discourse of political opportunity, expressing moral superiority, prefers to criticize the extreme right voter from a theoretical-philosophical humanitarianism to oppose neoliberalism, which is the root of the real problem.
And that is that while some citizens more often enjoy the benefits that immigrants bring, others see difficulties in everyday life. A significant part of the middle class could hardly afford domestic cleaning staff and dependent family care if there were no immigrants, at least in the same number of hours as now. The most humble classes are required to have a master's degree in economics, so that they understand that the worsening of their working conditions is not primarily due to the arrival of immigrants, but to neoliberal capitalism (in abstract!). That is why I would like to ask the Commissioner whether the Commission is prepared to accept the Commission's proposal. The classes of impoverished workers should know from morning to night that they are not the most vulnerable social segment and therefore have to be willing to share part of their small slice of cake with the newcomers. In case all this was not enough, the extreme progressive center believes that the lower classes should be elegant in interculturality to relate to the new inhabitants, in neighborhoods and schools abandoned by the rich middle class.
The truth is that the inhabitants of the slums are not going to be elegant in progressism, but they are gaining experience. Despite the problems, more and more relations are taking place without the support of most moral discourses. The enlightened middle classes have forced people who exercise authentic interculturality, in addition to the segregation of urban land, to suffer school segregation, so that, as they are obliged to maintain a lower educational level, they are systematically excluded from privileged social networks.
Low classes should be stylish in interculturality to relate to new residents in neighborhoods and schools
abandoned by the rich middle class.
It is not uncommon for there to be problems of coexistence in neighbourhoods, as it is not uncommon for there to be impatience when there is wage dumping or competitiveness through subsidies. For example, why is the Hungarian Government ' s attitude to immigrants and refugees who do not want to be in that country and not the 150 people who die of cold in their homes in that country every year? In these social problems, the extreme right stands out, which offers a simple recipe for stigmatizing and persecuting immigrants. It is a sterile argument, we know that immigrants are not a structural problem. The story of people is the story of migration, we are all or we have been immigrants. The point is that there is no will to confront the discourse of the extreme right with a radical discourse and praxis against neoliberalism. The rich have always enjoyed the self-satisfaction of humanitarian aid with the poor and I think there is something similar to that day in the hegemonic speeches and praxis for immigrants.
To beat the extreme right, we have to talk about people’s material problems (housing, wages, sharing of wealth…) and at the same time we have to fight against segregation. Not having papers to work is segregating, and that lowers the price of the workforce. Similarly, urban and school segregation must be put to an end in order to improve security, facilitate mutual understanding between different parties and promote social justice.

In 2011, the powerful 15-M movement broke out, which put the Catalan Govern in a hurry. Among other things, on that occasion the Police ran into the indignant camp of the Plaza Cataluña de Barcelona and besieged the Parlament on the day that the activists had to approve the... [+]
On the Internet comes the title of a movie that I still saw when I was growing up looking for the word Willow. In this fantasy film, the protagonist, a small man named Willow, transformed the world by liberating its inhabitants from an oppressive kingdom. Google just launched a... [+]
Irene Coulon’s talk about sleeping beauty and the image of incineration has been the main theme of this year’s Feministaldia. He has torn apart the cultural ideas of sleep, making it clear that we also have masculinized sleep. Many of the (cultural) lessons of sleep are... [+]
Araia told me to write to you. He told me that before I leave them (I will do this this year), they want to take you a text of mine, which I have never taken you, and that you deserve, that you will be proud of me. Such an opportunity cannot be missed. I don't know what I can... [+]
I have recently had the opportunity to see the latest work by Pierre Carles, a committed documentary author. Under the name of Guérilla des FARC, l'avenir a une histoire (FARC guerrilla, the future has history), proposes a renewed account of the armed conflict that has lasted... [+]

Entrepreneurship is fashionable. The concept has gained strength and has spread far beyond economic vocabulary. Just do it: do it no more. But let us not forget: the slogan comes from the propaganda world. Is the disguise of the word being active buyers? Today's entrepreneurs are... [+]
We're in chaos. That has been said to us by the French media, which Parliament has brought down the government on 4 December. The fear that political, institutional, social, economic chaos will rage us all in the horde of hell comes to our veins. What comedy we're going to play... [+]
Surely, most of us have already bought, here and there, the gifts for Christmas. Because the night visit to Olentzero is a great quote, especially for the youngest. Everyone is preparing for this fruitful era of the year: Bilbao burns as much as Vitoria, Pamplona and Baiona,... [+]
What surprised you the most when you left jail? I've been asked many times in the last year and a half.
See that the streets of Bilbao are full of tourists and dogs with two legs, for example? Or the changes in the political situation? The first one has tired me and annoyed me... [+]
The issue of aid for Basque learning is really confusing. The citizen who wants to learn Basque must go to more than one window to know how much the course he wants to take and where, how and when he will get the grants. Because it still costs money to study, nothing is free... [+]
The understanding and interpretation of the mathematical language is what is important in the learning process, at least it is what we say to our students. The language of mathematics is universal, and in general, the margin of error for interpretation tends to be small. We... [+]
