Extra, extra! The second issue of LandarLantzen, the book of agendas for the year 2019, is already on the street. In summer there has been no holiday for Jakoba Errekondo and Antton Olariaga, and with the beginning of the new course the harvest made in collaboration with ARGIA returns: Book of agendas with explanations by Errekondo and drawings by Olariaga. However, the work cannot be finished: it is designed to be completed with the user's notes, appointments and instructions.
This year’s issue is the second issue of the Agenda book. For those of you who didn't know last year's, what exactly is Growing Plants?
It is an Agenda-Book that gathers the works that are done with land and plants throughout the year. It explains the works to be carried out in each period and month, divided into four areas: orchard, forest, fruit trees and garden. In addition, the book includes the cycles of the Moon. On the other hand, the book also offers the possibility to point out the works we do, as if it were an ordinary agenda.
Does this new issue bring novelties or particularities?
The work agenda is more or less annual, as the work does not change, but this year we have added some work and supplementary information. In addition, we have given this second issue a particularity: we have dedicated the agenda to the working instruments of the garden. It explains what tools are used to cut, what kind of packaging or baskets are there to collect, what tools are used to work the land… We have also collected the names that are given to those tools in each place to collect that rich dictionary.
What are the points in an orchard agenda? What has Errekondo written on his Lantz Plant?
Well, where have you brought a seed, when the seed or the plants, when you make the fertilizer… If at a given time you see a serious problem, for example, point. And then take a backward journey: see when you paid that series, which fertilizer, which plants were around or what was previously grown. The agenda helps to improve tasks and understand why they can be problems. In the end, the agenda is a tool to learn from our orchards and plants.
One more year Antton Olariaga has remained faithful, completing the work with her drawings. You have been working well…
Yeah, yeah, we got really good, and I learn a lot with him. Many times, with a drawing it explains very well something that I need two sheets to explain in writing. He also seems to be at ease, he is always asking about names and, in this case, about tools: what they are used for, how and with what complexity. It's a luxury to have Olariaga by your side always ready to collaborate. The two are usurbildarras and, in addition, we understand each other very well… (ja, ja).

One more year with your drawings you have completed the book of the LandarLantzen agenda. Have you taken the taste of drawing plants, no?
Yes. Until now I saw the plants from afar, I appreciated them, I even ate some, more and more with them in the kitchen… I am not... [+]
ARGIA has just published LandarLantzen 2019, an agenda book that explains the work to be done in the garden taking into account the moon. His illustrations are once again made by Antton Olariaga. In addition, Usurbil’s cartoonist also participated in the Altza Porru comic ... [+]
I intended to come back on a moon, but seven days late, and my grandmother has already started the next round. They say that the return of the holiday is usually hard, at least for those who have had holidays, but just as I like to enjoy the holidays, I adapt to the routine at... [+]
