Along the path itself
Just two years ago, I met the Perlata de Arrasate group. I was fascinated by the direct he offered at a festival organized in the village; the ways of understanding and publishing punk and rock and roll, and above all the freshness and attitude shown to convey. Soon after, I got his first album, Nondik hasi… and I heard it enthusiastically. She knew from the perspective of Maialen, Ane, Jaione and Ander and she knew that, despite being young, they had been in many groups (Lost Girls, No Ways, Unknown Interpreter, Neallta Fola…), always around punk and rock and roll. There is desire and differentiation, and that is inevitably made to the listener.
At one time the band was in the mouths of many and participated in various festivals and concerts undergrounds, always with good words. Then they have been a little quiet and since then I have not seen them in person. And by the way, this week I've known you have a new record on the street.
Berriz’s veteran studio LORENTZO Records has once again been chosen, and on this occasion, I would say that they wanted to make a darker and darker sound. As in his previous work, English and Euskera have gone beyond the topics of punk rock and rock-and-roll, and, as in many attitudes, have also stylistically tried to move away from the patterns and appearances that society draws in all areas and denounce that; therefore, the title of Golden Cage.
Once again, I've been touched by the very touch of the quartet to understand and transmit punk and rock -- the diction and credibility of the voices in both English and Basque. The war is strong, dirty and fast, it also has melody; Rock soul Safety Pins and Pussycats is a punk rock-and-roll fast, characterized by the hillbilly touch of the violin; Empty has two faces: dark and heavy rock, and semirtenpes; Garra also has the first group of golden horns.
