On the eve of Sanfermin the Gasteiztarra Compost group offered a nice post beach concert in Zumaia. The appointment took place at 19:30 hours in Ribera de la Capital Navarra Street. It is a street that has taken great weight in recent times in the village. There are already few who have had no news of the murals of Zumaia; there have been many demands that have been drawn, but all the murals are united by one cry: the street is of all.
On Friday, the number 81 mural was painted while the Compost group offered a concert. In front of the mural they placed the instruments ordered and on both sides the beer and t-shirts with the cry of “The street is of all”. It was not long before the people gathered back from the beach on both sides of the street.
The Compost group offered their second concert in Zumaia, but it was clear that their trajectory did not start a concert. In fact, a crew of experienced friends and friends enjoyed the ears of zumaiarras: Txerra Bolinaga, drums of the RIP group; Bingen Mendizabal, violin of the Hertzainak group; Jon Aranburu, guitarist of Stockhom S. They are said to have created Compost among friends, and that was noticeable at the time the concert began. They started the concert in a jovial tone, with the singer Sánchez dressed in Osakidetza's gown.
As soon as the music was heard, Koldo, Olatz and Eneko began to make mural number 81. On the front line, the children shamelessly moved their hips and heads, while the elderly refused to keep pace.
They describe their music as post rock and play both their songs and their versions. They sing on Monday or to the situation of Basque prisoners in a critical and courageous manner, and in some cases they dare to play the Txistu or the Andalusian.
The Compost group headed on the sidewalk, while the neighbors took the street. And so, the claim dominated the songs that were played after the demand for “another, another, another”. Regarding the social movement of Vitoria-Gasteiz, they showed their solidarity with those of Zumaia, adapting the song Gasteiz rules and turning Zumaia into rules. With this last song, they also managed to put people singing.
Caught in the whirlwind of the concert and every time they said Zumaia rules, while we were eager to answer fuck the power, we barely realized that they had finished mural number 81 on Ribera Street. How many layers the walls of the Ribera already have!
The Gasteiztarra Compost group is undoubtedly composted and converted into a compost, and they have demonstrated this in a concert on Ribera de Zumaia Street, without the permission of the mayor. The wall has been recycled for 81 times.
