A big storm of energy
The Voltaia group has made a big album. Punk stoner is a whirlwind of rock, a real storm of energy. The rhythms are intense and playful, they lead us with the start of the song, and the sound is very strong, made up of guitar riffs and drawings on the solid base of the drumbeat and bass rhythm.
Also noteworthy are the voices and harmonies, which have created nice melodies, and the rest of the nuances, details and adaptations have been carefully realized. After all, they have done good production work.
From the beginning they have played hard rock, they are noticed the influences of hard rock from the 1970s, also in this work, but their sound is not as hard as before. They've had an evolution, and now the melodies are noticeable more.
His songs revolve around relationships, desires, being, the meaning of life and social problems: “In this hell you don’t see heaven” (In search of you), “In the city of the devil we have become inhabitants” (rhythmic decadence), “We don’t know where to hide, wanting to live” (Desire to live), “We can’t move forward, we hurt the senses, we can’t follow” (Odyssey), “Life broke, if I break a thousand.”
The Voltaia group is from Zumaia, formed in 2014 and in four years has published three albums. They are making a very fruitful journey, as in addition to the albums, they have performed many live performances in this time.
Unai Eizagirre (voice and bass), Ion Brakamonte (guitar) and Pablo Sánchez (drums) are now the group’s components, as the Jon duran drums left the band in February 2017 and Pablo Sánchez started playing in the group.
The new album will see the light in February of this year and is playing here and there. Many actions have been carried out this year, and those that are still going to be carried out. Among others, 6 July in Oviedo (Asturias), 7 July in Lugo (Galicia), 29 July in San Sebastián, 1 September in Irun, 7 September in Legorreta and 6 October in Orio.
