In any case, it should be noted that the two candidates of María Valiente and Neskutz Rodríguez, the two women who competed with Lander Martínez for the post of secretary-general, have a totally different attitude. Members of the “Denontzat For All” and “Zurekin” tendencies within Podemos were supporters of unconditional adherence to the demonstration. This shows that Podemos’s position could have been different if Martínez had not “imposed” his candidacy (note an irony between lines). In all political projects there are people who are leading the weight, but in many issues, even more so in the case of a party that uses indefinition as a tool. In Navarre, the waters have also been mixed, and it remains to be seen how the change of people will affect the project.

However, the reason why some people in Podemos have this rigid vision is well known: to be afflicted with the fever of Spanish nationalism. That is nationalism and not independence in the Spanish State as a nationalist. Each of the criticisms they make of left-wing nationalism complies with them one by one. Among other things, the abandonment of the principles of the left dazzled by the feeling of belonging. It gives the impression that both Podemos and the commune sector in Catalonia find it difficult to admit that they are also nationalists, that is, Spanish nationalists. Otherwise, it is hard to understand many attitudes. And beware, I'm not against collective identity, let alone. However, as has happened in Catalonia, the separation of independentism and nationalism makes the independence movement here much more beneficial than harmful, as it makes it difficult to play undefined. Today, many times, our political vision is limited to simple categories, and that is why the hardening and refining of words is so important to “impose” one’s own vision.
