The worst of horror films comes at the time of their completion, in the next few hours and in the next nights, at least for some. The movie itself is to sow a seed, because the rest will be done by your mind, much better and much more real.
In this way, you can get caught flying the costume of a brave person and running through the bathroom path to the room, igniting the light from the hallway. You will not get your feet or arms out of the bed sheet, even if the heat drowns it. You will close the closets and, in extreme situations, you will look under the bed to see if there is anyone, asking yourself what it would look like if there was somebody by chance.
A film also evokes the memory of the monsters and assassins of all the movies you've seen before, which were hidden in some wrinkle of your brain, supposedly missing. All in your room and tonight, but no one before the next day. Your intrepid mask will wake you up and ask you from the earth if you've gone crazy.
Because fear is a curious thing. It is necessary, but odious, especially when it becomes lasting. And if the fear that emerges from fiction changes you, what about what is based on reality?
You've gone from the bar home to a quicker step than the bathroom, forcefully grabbing the mask of a brave person by zipper. You can't fall anymore. You don't want to get your hands out of your pockets, because in one you have the phone and in the other you have the keys. You look back in the street in more than one bed, asking yourself what pussy you would think if there was somebody by chance. And a thousand facts come to your memory that you have heard beforehand: from the park, from the polygon, from the car, from the parties… all by your side and tonight.
Every male assault leaves us a message that drops us like a Sirimiri on the skin that we've thickened with self-defense workshops, demonstrations and empowering. It's fear. And even though we know that it's the strongest control mechanism and it's not up to us to feel it, and that we have to change sides, it's still stuck there. And I hate that uncontrollable, because I preferred to think that we're all crazy, as we know there's no one in the closet, that we'll come home safely... But the day to day shows us that all the situations we've imagined can happen at any time and anywhere.
Now that I do not believe in anyone, I will believe in the transformation of fear and in our ability to organize to defend with hand and with teeth all the areas we have acquired. Do not step back.

With the words of poet Vicent Andrés Estellés, I am one among so many cases, and not an isolated, rare or extraordinary case. Unfortunately, no. Among so many, one. In particular, according to the Council of Europe, and among other major institutions such as Save The Children,... [+]
The housing problem is a structural problem that comes from far away. What should be a human right is nothing more than a subjective right. I say that it is a fraud because, although all the institutions and all the political parties say nice words, they do not grasp the... [+]

We have been hearing the views of Iñigo Errejón on the accusations of male violence in all media and social media for a few weeks. In addition, many controversies are emerging: how we should denounce women, how our sexual relations should be, recognition, silences of those who... [+]
There are those who say that elections serve only to give legal status to political decisions. And there are not very many who think that way. Okay, but with that, a lot of things are said, among other things, that real power, power, is out of that game.
But, in my view,... [+]
A father from Bilbao has asked me about the secondary education protocol being developed at the AMPA around mobiles.
As I read on the website of the Basque Government, in January 2024 there was talk in schools about the regulation of mobiles, that there will be no prohibition... [+]
Sometimes you make a blessing, and say where you had to say it, for sure, and when you're done, you want to cry loudly. When everything was over, with the affection of the luggage, he gave you a long hug as if he were holding you.
You might once lie down with a colleague you... [+]
Five decades later, we seem to be leaving behind the Washington Consensus. The climate crisis and, above all, the rise of China have reinvented the interest in leadership and the active participation that the country should have in the economy. The former austerity managers,... [+]
Following the complaint against Iñigo Errejón for machista violence, it seems that some have realised that in parties, unions and leftist institutions, women are not free to receive violence from affiliated men. In addition, it has become clear that in these situations some... [+]
Two years ago Urdaibai Guggenheim Stop! Since the creation of the popular platform, Urdaibai is not for sale! We hear the chorus everywhere. On 19 October we met thousands of people in Gernika to reject this project and, in my opinion, there are three main reasons for opposing... [+]
