They're in shape
The Bi Bala group continues with its usual eloquence, salt and pepper, rigor and irony. Following the path of bertso-rock, they've gathered nice songs to their new work, and, step by step, they're moving forward in their career.
They continue to criticize and denounce through songs, through word games, provoking or directly: “The Internet viruses and the children without a vaccine, the mortgages of the brokers and the branches of the mortgage; the modern problems, the blueprints of the encephalogram, I will look if I have life in guarantee” (The modern problems); “Nobody can ask but we are democrats” (They are in extreme hands), “The forgotten are worse than the lost fights; It is not very scary who has nothing but dignity.”
Attention has also been paid to melodies, rhythms and sound, arrangements for songs and mixtures. They have made a strong, dense and shiny sound, well-dressed in detail, but without decorations that may prove excessive. The drawings and environments they have created with the guitar stand out. The time they have dedicated to composing songs has had their influence on the sound of the disc and in the whole result, the fact that they are immersed in the composition of the same has borne fruit.
The group is becoming more and more well-known and in full shape. In a few years he has performed numerous public performances and published three albums: In addition to the new work of Modern Problems, Planes eroyak (2015) and Wasabi (2014). Julen Goikoetxea (drums), Xabier Etxeberria Pitxu (bass), Iñaki Gurrutxaga (guitar and voice) and Aitzol Barandiaran (voice) are playing together in the group and they do very well.
The singers of the band, Aitzol and Iñaki, are also bertsolaris, and along with the musicians Julen and Pitxu have created, strengthened and strengthened the sound of Bi Balaren. All of this can be observed at the presentation sessions of the new work.
