It has been a summer issue. Along with the neighborhood tankers, Ernai’s boys and girls – including political interests – launched a campaign against the tourism model and, at a gallop, there was a wave of articles, interviews, statements: Love maternal tourism, keep us with our rulers.

However, mass tourism, to which we refer, from the point of view of the experts, does not have everything in their favour. It says that in the short term it leaves large profits on private exchanges. And in the long run, public money is very expensive for the ecological and eco-social damage it produces.

That is where the greedy vampires feel strongly tempted by absorption, ready to go below all standards and above all respects. Despite the fact that the coexistence built between the citizens has to deteriorate. Our institutions, as they have often shown, do not have the capacity to deal with them and, because of the tibidity they have, they do not want much. * * *

In the passionate campaign for tourism, we have been able to read different nonsense. Harkaitz Milllan, director of Basquetour, wrote the most beautiful: Turistophobia is Xenophobia. The phrase was taken from socialist councilman Jaume Colboni (Barcelona) and was also taken over by pp spokesman Rafael Hernando. Of course, it serves to disqualify those who complain, without touching or commenting on the substance of the problem or the responsibility of politicians. I would also subscribe to Donald Trump, the xenophobic owner of many tourist businesses.

Tourism is like the flu. You can't escape, it's in the environment. If you don't have a vaccine and you've got the flu, you know: rest, paracetamol, bed, plenty of fluids... if not, it can be very serious. The Spanish flu, a hundred years ago, killed more than 20 million people worldwide.

This is what has happened in our tourism: neither vaccines nor palliative care. And when the neighbors, fed up with their heads, have started screaming, the high dignitaries have responded to us with solemn messages because they have not understood what we are doing. Slower still: We don't have no-ra ba-bon, we don't have fo-bia tu-ris-mo. But to the shipwrecks that want us to believe that we're shipwrecks, we have babophobia. * * *

The question of the independence of Catalonia is very serious for some. It is more serious to be a Republic. The umbrella of the monarchy is the cover-up of many tricks.
