- The days go by until the deadline for drafting this opinion is exhausted, to arrive at a conclusion: What has not been written about Catalonia, what has not been written about what has caught our attention, illusion and emotion? But there is no longer much to talk about, and we do not know what the matter is going to be when this event comes. In this way, I would like to address my sincere thanks to a country that in recent weeks has shaken the insult everyday life at different levels.
To begin with, it has made us witness to one of those historic gaps that perhaps only open once every fifty years; that moving moment that a territory advances and accelerates sometimes on the way out of dependency we do not have to see so closely with a bulge, and so Catalonia has become a close model, of our inertia or betrayals, a false path that has made us flee from our lost projects.
On the other hand, Catalonia has shown that this system of imperialist states that organized the world by cordel is an outdated system, which is a matter of time, which perhaps we do not, but which our children do, will see the world of the new structures that can still be guessed.
Then he has brought us out of eternity the umpteenth, which is no small thing.
There has been no day in the last three weeks, when I have not felt the excitement of waking up in the face of the events of the east, sometimes for better, sometimes for worse.
Every morning we have commented on some lazy details when drinking coffee, we have fed up with delicious rivalries of words full of esthetic speeches and licit and replicas humorist flights, disasters we have known for a long time, and expelling the old ghosts from their own cilia… They have made us smile and baffling on the one hand and on the other, with all the attempts and measures to drown.
We were surprised, for example, by the rigid concept of surreal and incomprehensible “Spain” for people like me, which irrationally links different fronts above all differences.
It has taken advantage of us, because we have increased the level of understanding of Catalan in contrast to what we have done so far. The papers that came from Perpinya have made us dream. We have listened with pleasure to Carles Puigdemont, who has had a high level of French. The people of Hegoalde have been given the opportunity to savor the delight of the censuses.
The facts have made us a @cat, #cat eta.cat in a platinum on the net – obviously, I am not talking about cats – our timeline has grounded the themes, has set notification services on fire, has added dozens of sources to our flow aggregators.
Above all, it has reminded all the peoples of minority Europe, such as the Catalans, that when the noise of the boots grows, the time to remove the chapines has come, without despair.
That is why, thanks to everything: We'll have to tell our kids and our males!
Personally – and less if I were Catalan – I would not want to return to “eternal life” Since the Catalans stopped leading eternal life, because they and many of us have felt more alive than ever before and, once this has been savored, reviving hope, the return to eternity smells. Although it is difficult to change, it would cost us much more to return to the above. n
