Association of consumption in the form of trade

Small and large experiences such as those already under way have been taken as a reference to develop the Labore project in Bilbao: Labore de Oarsoaldea or Planta de la Comarca de Pamplona with a long history, among others. In Bilbao, a shop for partners will also open in autumn.

Among the purposes of the association are to offer local products, to move from a food business to a service, to facilitate direct sale, to offer quality ecological products, to be the engine of the project citizenship, to build another society or the defense of mother earth.

Backbone of the project

The partners make the decisions in the Labore Bilbao association and want to build the space they are going to open together. Broadly and democratically agree on the location of the store, the supply of products, its functioning and standards.

Just as consumers are entitled to buy quality products at affordable prices, the association calls for decent prices for farmers. “We believe in the alliance between producers and consumers. Avoiding intermediaries and other interests involved.”
