Hernaniarra made his first trip to Canada in autumn 2010 with the intention of spending a season abroad. Since then he has lived in Toronto, despite having made a visit to his home country. It works on a project by the Transport Commission of Toronto, an engineering company, around public transport, but it closely follows what is happening in the Basque Country. The relatives inform him of what is happening in the area. To follow Hernani's accounts, he goes to the Kronika newspaper of Hernani and to receive more general news he looks at the newspapers and the Basque tweeters.
I follow the news coming from Euskal Herria very closely, but I felt the need to read them calmly on the issues that often cover today’s accounts. ARGIA deals with these two aspects in an excellent way, always from its own point of view. I would say that this makes a special LIGHT in the Basque media universe. I was looking for something beyond the usual themes and characters and ARGIA gives it to me.
I like the variety of themes and the importance of images. I showed a Canadian the first magazine I picked up at home, and although I didn't understand it, it seemed very good to him, I guess when he looked at the illustrations, he realized that the magazine treated a lot of things.
On the one hand, I like your life on the Internet. It is not just a paper content archive, but it has acquired its own character. Secondly, I am grateful that the traditional subscription model has been turned upside down. The relationship between a media and its audience is often the subject of debate, but the truth is that the traditional sales-buyer model is rarely called into question. ARGIA's daring on this issue is very much appreciated.
