Striving to sharpen the view
They're not ours. Not like us. We have the opposite, the wrong, the opposite. Our exception is the rule for them and their rule is our exception. Our rule is its exception, its exception our rule.
Model A has a bad reputation among us. For a long time now. Once or twice a year, the Basque people claim their disappearance in the Basque Autonomous Community. In Navarre, however, we do not see you. It behaved like it didn't exist. It is not hard work, as visibility is scarce, although the word is understood.
Model A is nowhere to notice. Nobody mentions it, so little lifts it up. Fathers and mothers who send their sons and daughters to this model have never created associations or other institutions. They have not been able to address their concerns. You may not worry. Their teachers, as much as they do.
Of course, those in Model A do not celebrate parties, nor once a year gigantic concentrations. The Basque people do not want him. Neither will those who are not Basque, at least in Navarre.

The main criticism that has been made is reasonably: Model A does not serve to uskaldunize anyone. As for all the French hours we were given at the Baccalaureate, most of us could not order a beer in the Plaza de San Juan de Luz, nor even have the four-hour classes a week for the students of model A to ask for a kalimotxo in the gaztetxe de Leitza.
Let us not, however, be so vain. Not all dogs are wearing shoes in our country either. We all know a lot of former students who have gone through model D, unable to link four straight phrases in Basque.
Others, moreover, are worse. A word will never come out of his mouth in Euskera, by the decision of his parents. There is no trace of our language in the curricula of half of the students in Navarre, and I fear that this will not change immediately. The Government of Navarre must have more votes, money and energy than the current one, so that all students of Navarre can acquire a minimum knowledge of the Basque language. The Basque country will remain strange to many. And with Euskera, we are also foreign.
The students in Model A are not ours. Not like us. They're inverse, they're wrong, they're opposed. But not the opposite. Unlike others, they have a small window open four times a week and from there you can see us. Even if it's only for the mist. On the other hand, we should also make an effort to tighten our eyes, not to make them look. They're there and they can be fellow travellers. We're missing who worked.
