“Uncertainty” is the word that has triumphed in the French political triumphs. Following the appointment by President Emmanuel Macron of Prime Minister and New Government Edouard Philippe, a member of Les Républicains (LR), many questions arise. First, how will the composition of the National Parliament affect the policy of the new government?

Macron’s word in his speeches is “Reform.” The minister of justice of the new government, the centrist party MoDem, François Bayrou, has reminded him of the need to “remoralize politics” for this purpose. The “new law for morality” promised by Macron is one of the main tasks. The new government will certainly have to work on political deontology, if it will comply with the changes promised to it by Macron. Labour reform, tax reform, changes in education, security and solidarity with Europe are the areas to be renewed by the President if he brings a new form of policy to French politics.

For example, the current Labor Law, also called El Khomri Law, was established in 2016, when Manuel Valls was prime minister and Myriam El Khomri was minister of labor. According to the previous government, “the law was reformed to extend the right to work and the area of freedom, as well as to protect business and labor agents.” By then, Macron had already left office as Minister of Economy, something that did not seem to be in accordance with the law, but because the law was so liberal, few believe that the current law is far from their thesis. In any case, President Hollande’s government did not bring the expected results in terms of employment, while the law has been criticised by the unions and the working class. In the meantime, Macron has not given his approval to Hollande’s five-year mission, which would involve throwing stones into a possible new Elysian roof.

From the point of view of the leftists that are beyond the official left, “Macron is obliged to make a labor reform to shape a new government, but, ultimately, his new law would not entail a profound change in the restructuring of the labor world.” With regard to tax reform, the president promised during the campaign to abolish the Taxe d’habitat (House Tax). Sending yes is another thing to make reality. The implementation of this reform has encountered many obstacles. In other words, it is not specified when it will start to apply. To which age contributors? The same for all taxpayers?

In any event, the massacre of the Islamist State (IS) in Manchester has once again put the issue of security at the forefront of the political debate. As the official campaign of the legislative elections begins, President Macron, Prime Minister Edouard Philippe and Minister for Foreign Affairs and Europe, Jean-Yves Le DRIAN, have completed the media and newspaper pages. The only dissonant voice was Marine Le Pen from the National Front (FN): “Nothing serious has been done in France against jihadist terrorism.”

Beyond the media, the campaign is on the street anyway. The candidates are working in the different fields or specialties. 557 Members will be appointed. The National Front of Marine Le Pen is not the main enemy of Republicans on the March, the second round of Spain. In the presidential votes there was no B.O.C. He stopped, but lost on points. In addition, environmentalists EELV and PCF also support De Haas.

Insubordinate France is the main rival of Republicans in the struggle for independence. Mélenchon says he does not want to deceive his candidates. The alliance with the PCF has been suspended. “We will keep our presidential program intact, we will not betray anyone who has voted for us.” PCF wanted to “humiliate” some agenda items.
