Gabriel Korta already has seven poem books: Isiletik (1980), Okaranak (1986), HARRI hautsiak (2002), Lau (2010), Elurra with shorts (2012), Diot (2013). In them and in the latter he has spilled some loves, some accusations, some sadness. On this occasion it also refers to love, it is evident, “when two friends meet to give themselves strength, they are pushed, it is a way of saying ahead, I mean those details”.
Details. The book is sensitive to details. But also to big questions, maybe because they're looking for answers through small things. What is the place of those who do not have in our society today? What role does poetry play in the balance of each, in the imbalance of each?
Gabriel Korta is not an author who catches you from the first stanza. It's not a paradigm of elegance. But he writes sincerely: “Poetry does not start with me or end with me... Let poets come with their poems! I greet you all to glorify this hard work. I recognize the tiredness of the years, I live in the fall, I have to learn to age. Going back to the shadow of the plum, to the respected circle of friendships -- I'm very sorry, but I can't forget the bitter footprint that psychiatry has had in my poetry."
Most poems solve issues. In this sense, they are similar to illuminations. “I have repaired bones/ I have cuts/ Loneliness and hospital admissions/ I am 64 years old.” And it goes up the stream like all of us who are not in our judgment. It goes up and down as life progresses. Literary existence and life are mixed in the work of Gabriel Korta. It's beautiful to read, it's heavy to read. It's very interesting and it's also mild at once. Wrong to define, in any case, the force of Love, the hidden kingdom of the visible: “You are my thighs/ People/ On the streets of Nostalgia.” This deeply personal book proves once again that the brain is a puzzle. And he seemed to reedit the truth about the weirdest uncle in his lifetime, following up on previous books.
The last book is therefore The Force of Love. The last one like everyone else. Repeat what has been said, renew what has been said. Gabriel Korta has again left the analysis of black and white, light and shadow, justice and darkness, the literary result of a much larger experiment.

I do not know if you also have the same perception – I recognise this: here I have started to write in a scientific way. I am referring to the natural extension of the word laziness. I hear more and more in the corners of Hego Euskal Herria: Basque, Spanish and, of course,... [+]
Many at Christmas feel more lazy than illusion when we think about meals and family gatherings. But we anticipate that it is not food that makes us feel collectively uncomfortable, but the normativity that defines the traditional family. Moreover, we would dare to say that the... [+]

The end of the Syrian Arab Republic has caused great surprise at the way in which it has taken place: fast and almost without resistance. However, it is not so strange when we consider that the country was destroyed, impoverished and trodden. Most Syrians have long been... [+]
