“Based on agroecology and the culture of auzolan, Bidazi’s goal was to build a space for cross-border citizenship of the Bidasoa.” They are words of Oier Fuentes, member of the association, collected in the interview made by Hamaika Telebista. The Bidazi association brings together people and producers of Txingudi, Cinco Villas, Xareta, Malerreka and Baztan for an alternative consumption model: solidarity, ecological, responsible, local, conscious and transformative.

Meeting point of shops

Bidazi had been a consumption group of several families in the Bidasoa region for years. In 2014 the venue of the association was launched in the Alkaiaga district of Lesaka.En this fair
are available organic products from the producers of the area (or that are directed to the ecological), but the Bidazi site goes beyond being a store: it seeks to promote relations between producers and consumers, as well as relations between consumers and producers. The partnership currently has over 150 members.
Bidazi also works in training on responsible consumption and production. During these years, numerous lectures, presentations, workshops and courses have been organized to sensitize society.

Request for aid to improve
supply

In order
to improve the service of the fair, the association has launched a crowdfunding campaign. What is the objective? Obtain two refrigerators to extend the range of local fresh products. The installation of each refrigerator would cost EUR 3,500, an amount set at a minimum conseguir.Bidazi has started its collection campaign on 25
