To comment on the books that aren't new in this period I took in 2010, there was a law that wasn't written: don't repeat author. A law that I find increasingly difficult to comply with, because those who deserve to be mentioned are not inexhaustible, and I love a few writers so much. In my discharge I will say that I only brought Itxaro Borda as an apailer, for the anthology of Emakumeak writers. I therefore come to settle an injustice with Borda at last as the author. And I leave the door open for the future, so that I can again invite the writers who have come here once.

Which books to choose from a long list. Well, for many years, until the editorial Meettok brings out 100% Basque, the only book translated into Spanish, 1989. Allegro ma non troppo, which appeared in the mythic editorial Hiru, was dedicated to the narrative in Basque in the prestigious section Milia Lasturko (initiative that few people have followed, except that initiated by Pamiela and Diario de Noticias, with less echo than expected). In the bridge of literature, not the narrative, not the novel, has been placed in the section of the chronicle, in a single copy, as the title recognizes, although on the last page it is mentioned in this “strange novel”. It brings together a chronicle or singular novel, a brief narrative, a reflection, a dialogue, a monologue disguised as a dialogue, with humor full of humor, melodramatic, hesitant, brilliant, in the ends of frivolity. It completely clears.

But let's say the chronicle, OK. But it was ... For from 1989, the anniversary of the famous revolution, one hundredth: heat time, rainless, endangered maize, “The negotiations between ETA and the Spanish government resumed”, “the feminist movement is fully integrated and thus devalued”, and “France does not propose any other way out than compulsory azimilation”. Summarizing more than it should, we are told how from 1789 France “analyzes, analyzes, blocks, normalizes the normal, folds to the values of the revolutibility”, until we get to the track of the “donkey, of the purifying irrigation, of the blindly laborer, of the religious ridiculous”.

While you're reading, you'll find dancing letters, you eat in a place where you don't know where, scripts that pop up suddenly, spelling errors, forgotten capitals, missing letters. It is going to be a bit of tremendous from time to time – “in history there is no room for us, except on the pages full of the blood of the defeated” – until the Godwin law is applied – “What is this Merian society, which accepts in peace the final solution against a people?” But he's a libertino of how cute he is when, once again, he's free in the hands of Borda.
