Elena Aitzkoa Reinoso (Apodaka, 17 January 1984) is one of the young artists who has already received the FollowUp Prize. It has more prizes, but perhaps it is worth highlighting them. The jury considered that “his vitalist vision of art, his radical and coherent poetic impulse, creates his own universe, especially that of everyday life.” It also has a tendency to play in titles. Not in vain, he writes, publishes a book of poems, has a blog. Writing, performance, drawing, painting, chooses the mold according to the needs of the moment, although the sculpture is the one that has worked the most so far.
He usually constructs his sculptures with everyday objects and manages to show the structure of the work, as well as to enhance the very nature of the materials. However, its definition is better: “I work with fabric, knife in hand and a bertso in the mouth. The objects in the environment fall. Sculptures are born out of the earth and have everything. They are fragments, gifts, holes, hiding places, bowls, garden and landscape.” But not only does he work with fabrics, but he can use everything he finds on his way: stones, threads, branches, pieces of paper, books, tweezers, gomas, whatever, and he envelops them in his sculptures, he hides them in plaster, he puts them in mud, he envelops them in fabrics. Some works are dense anabolic, others, like this one in the photo, simple, elegant. They're born from Earth, and they're normally shown on Earth.
It's not to stand still. 2007 Miguel A. Along with García, he founded the club Le Larraskito, interested in sound experimentation and non-conventional music, and has since participated in the organization of Soinu Fest. That same year he made his first exhibition, and since then he has made several exhibitions. Carreras Múgica, for its part, has been shown this same year at the Mugica Gallery.

This text comes two years later, but the calamities of drunks are like this. A surprising surprise happened in San Fermín Txikito: I met Maite Ciganda Azcarate, an art restorer and friend of a friend. That night he told me that he had been arranging two figures that could be... [+]
On Monday afternoon, I had already planned two documentaries carried out in the Basque Country. I am not particularly fond of documentaries, but Zinemaldia is often a good opportunity to set aside habits and traditions. I decided on the Pello Gutierrez Peñalba Replica a week... [+]
