The paternalistic and abertzale welfare state that Lázaro Cárdenas built with the nationalization of the main energy resources and productive forces, after the revolution of Pancho Villa and Emiliano Zapata is over. Transnational capitals (and local oligarchies) are opened in parallel to privatise and exploit national heritage.

Suddenly, an army of indigenous people dressed in disguise from the jungle of the symbol Emiliano Zapata Lacandona (EZLN) makes San Cristobal de las Casas, Tierra y libertad! exclaimed.
