I. Oh! This new album, edited by the label Iparrorratza (Iparrorratza), is the first part of a double work. “An authentic sewing work”, in the words of its
autores.En melodies are seen travels abroad, retouching the musical tendencies of the 1970s: Euskaldun (Itoiz), Anglo-Saxon (King Crimson) or Brazilian (Caetano Veloso). They're pixel pop-rock-progressive songs. The environments are generally soft, but some passages are strong.
The words include interior travel, intimate trips, feelings, concerns, reflections of Tristtan Mourguy: “I don’t want to be a star to feel the evening joyful, from the morning I wet my language mentally poisoning my bones gradually (Gordeka), “The present is the finger of the past, that your fence will lift your breath for the first time to take, pure to turn it into mold” Words to attract), “The most beautiful dreams, even if you consent, your paradise, I want to be a kaiku.”
The voice and acoustic guitar of Tristtan Mourguy are the main axes of the new season. It has a strong, warm and humble voice. Under the direction of Aymeric Gnimassou (electric guitar, samplers and mixtures), the musicians who accompanied him in the recording sessions have done a great job: Flo Capelier (piano and voice), Arthur Capelier-Mourguy (violin, alboka and harmonica), Xabi Etxeberri (violin), Cedric Lepine (drums and atabal), Greg Juvin (bass), Fabien Lapouge (clarinet) and Michael Bars (trumpeter and guitar). They are experienced musicians who have worked in different groups: Euski, begiz Begi, Zezenaren Taldea, Torii, Tikken Jah Fakoly, Bernard Lavilliers, Zapo Zain, Kadjoo, Le Bestiare, Polo Fox, Mahamudra...
Tristtan Mourguy is from San Juan de Luz. In 2014 he published his first album, Trobador, in which he performed more than 80 public performances. During these days, Dual (½): He is presenting his new 'gordeka' job with the musicians accompanying him. Among others, on 2 December they will be in Durango, on 11 December in Ziburu, and on 3 January they will be in Pamplona.
