Post strong rock
The Baiona Torii group has been in charge of publishing the I.O disk. First seal disc (Compass). The label was created on the initiative of Jurgi Ekiza, who published the work of groups of Ipar Euskal Herria.
Rock and post rock air can be found in the songs of Torii, a group to which it belongs. The riffs of guitars and the games or dialogues between them, the rhythm changes, the melody and the songs are the energy they transmit.
Each musician acts skillfully with his instrument, the singer also, sometimes outraged and sometimes soft, and they have defined very well the place that each one occupies in the song. Karlos Osinaga has recorded the songs in the studies Bonberenea de Tolosa, the Karlos Osinaga himself has mixed them and the mastering has been done by Jonan Ordorika in the study Mamia de Azkarate. They have done good production work. They have made a strong, firm, clear, natural tone.
Through the songs they speak crudely of their thoughts, worries and feelings: “Today I have seen a man who died, around him the world laughing and dancing, today I have seen the agonizing world, men laughing and dancing on him” (Curved and blind), “When I thought he would fall, when I was only desperate, when I could not breathe, when you appeared” (Illuminating the shadows), “Eat, drink, calm, everything is under control, we don’t leave you in the outbreak.”
Before making the most blunt wrinkles, the Torii group has published two other discs: Two (2014), with three themes, and Lehen Atea (2012), with six.
