The burial of their dead is one of the ways to make peace with the past. Another, but in the long run less effective, is the forgetfulness of the past. But sometimes apologists forget the forgetfulness that everyone has to forget their unburied dead (or learn to forget them, or try to forget them). Forgetting any other is not a sign of peace with the past. In Pamplona, for example, when the initiative of emptying the Memorial to the Fallen from one side, which by law has been taking place for a long time but has not yet been seen by the reversal of the law, it has begun to claim that the dead, those on one side and those on the other, are left in peace. Once again, the media have searched for family statements and insisted that they prefer Lorca to continue with him, sharing destiny with his fellow dead. I often wonder what they fear. If it is an old hereditary fear or a mere comfort. Not wanting to cast a media shadow on the literary work of the old uncle, as if the artist who has a visitable tomb freed us from the fatigue of enjoying his work. Sometimes I thought they would rather stay with a party from their relative.

Last September the Government of Navarra paid tribute to Forensic Paco Etxeberria for his work in favor of historical memory. In addition to the work done to find corpses of the civil war, the more recent attention and documentation of torture make his figure more complete and deserve more tributes like this.
