You know more than me, reader. Because you are reading this with the results of the elections to the Basque Parliament, and I am still writing in the absence of the last days of the campaign. So in vain, I'm going to start giving you exciting forecasts. I have only to take advantage of the small advantage that the ignorance of what has happened can give me: to take advantage of the perspective of the past. The exercise I am proposing to you is simple. I'm going to ask you some questions, depending on the answers, you value your valuation. Come on, tell me:
Who has won the elections? Did she go crazy? And what do the amounts of seats from different parties say? Is it possible to create an alternative government by means of a pact? Not long ago, I would dare to say that it is a matter of two months, the hypothesis of a possible government agreement that could deal with the PNV did have its strength. Well, now that we are on the threshold of the elections, nobody sees that that is possible. This is the importance of the reality built by the surveys. Demographic research has increasingly led to our convictions and whether we are pulent or not, it has been studied and sufficiently demonstrated how these assumptions can influence us and how they can guide our conduct.
What does it tell me about the right to decide? Have the parties achieved the right to decide on a clear majority? I think so. And, if so, do you really believe that significant steps will be taken in that direction in this legislature? It would be a stupid question if we weren't tired of being idiots. If you're against, you can draw the conclusions yourself.
What about the left-right axis? Where does the balance fall? You may be afraid you have to place some aspects on one or the other. Can it be a starting point for finding agreements? And if the answer is no, why not?
Have representatives of traditional unionism (PSE and PP) received the envisaged plastication? Things seem to change little, but they change a lot more than we think. It would seem incredible to us if we were to go back a few years. What about the new unionisms? What results has Elkarrekin Podemos obtained? Do you wear the brand down or have you easily got the previous brand?
How many women parliamentarians are we going to have? Quite a lot, probably. Feminist demands have begun to bear fruit, right? I am convinced that this campaign for the Basque Government has taken a step forward in both the number of women and the roles. However, it cannot be denied that much remains to be done and that there are many differences in this matter between the parties. What do you think?
Although I am delighted to imagine your answers, the only thing I am clear now is that they have not been democratic elections. Arnaldo Otegi has been denied the right to be a candidate, i.e. to be a second (or third?) to the person chosen by the remaining group, EH Bildu. That means that the future of this people is still conditioned by the police, which is above the will of the people. The worst thing is that, as we've seen a lot of people and we've surpassed all the limits of agitation, we're profoundly asleep in responding to this kind of external interference. But how long? The answer to this question will not be the result of an election, but the collective re-outbreak of Basque citizenship. I shall therefore repeat to you the most important question I have asked you so far. How long?

I received your e-mail in personal mail on the strike portals. At first, like many others, I thought it was to let you know what options we have in the face of the strike. But no, the e-mail received was a political and communicative movement against the strike.

This weekend I've been thinking about the word 'aesthetic' in relation to a phrase said by a friend: “This work is aesthetic.” I have studied the etymology of the word aesthetic, it seems that its meaning was originally perceived through the senses, and it was later associated... [+]

The other day in Bilbao, I met a friend at the Bira bar. We were very happy at the Tar and I said: “Of course, since you’re Guipúzcoa, hahahaha.” And he insisted that he was not Guipuzcoan. Without me understanding it, I kept saying, “Ah! Is it not? You were born in New... [+]

We are in the midst of a world imperialist offensive led by the Western bourgeoisie. The form that the imperialist offensive has taken is that of war, with all its variants: economic war, cognitive and cultural war, lawfarr; and, of course, military war. Western imperialism has... [+]
I just saw a series from another sad detective. All the plots take place on a remote island in Scotland. You know how these fictions work: many dead, ordinary people but not so many, and the dark green landscape. This time it reminded me of a trip I made to the Scottish... [+]

Life surrounds everything, it is limited and fragile. To live good lives, it seems to me that the body knows what to do, while the mind, although it knows (when it is well informed), often sees the body deliberately silence. In this silence the mind opens itself to relations... [+]
