Bea Salaberri in his prime opera does what the writers recommend, that is, to start writing literature you have to look at the environment with eyes wide open and those of interest to us in our notebook. To do this, he has brought to his pages everything that has happened at home, at home, at work and on the street, and he has shared with the reader the ideas he has found in his daily life. In this way, it invites us to desautomate and to live consciously.
30 stories that convey to us what goes unnoticed in our lives or the succession of some cultures and traditions. On the one hand, we have brushes and impressions, and on the other hand, the presence of genres and hegemonic classes.
Salaberri puts in front of our eyes the usual moments, places and objects, reflecting on their influence or presence. For example, Ortzia talks about the wet land that the summer storms bring, Biga puts us at five in Marengoran between some streets of Baiona, alluding to the possibilities that they offer, or makes us look at the soundtrack of the house of the Lavors-larsen.
In addition, it attends to the relationships, behaviors and rituals of our culture, showing class conflicts or the consequences of poverty and making a social critique to the narration of Heroes or to the manifesto of the weight of the family structure in Bayonne 17, as well as how menstruation lives in Gorriak.
It also brings experiences and emotions through memory, such as swings or such special excursions in children and the sensations that produce us in Gorgoña and in the Bus, or the happiness and joy of the Soroa and the Ator button.
As has been said, he shares with readers what they have received from their environment, but also mentions models such as Itxaro Borda. In the text entitled Gasna, besides referring to the name of this writer and his book %100 basque, you can also find influences of the style of Borda in the title of the first narrative. With the title "Negarra begian" refers to a well-known song by the Basque songwriter, a resource that Borda uses in all her detective novels.
In the end, this book, why not? as it says in the narrative, “the important thing is to feel like living”, that is, to be masters of what has been experienced.
