George Soros, one of the richest people in the world, was enriched by speculation in the financial world. Moreover, it is known for its contribution to the spread of neoliberalism and the ideas of moral and material supremacy of the Western political, economic, cultural and social system. It has long financed a forward-looking version of globalisation around the world, placing special emphasis on the old socialist countries and on the progressive, sovereign countries.

The aim of subsidies is to build “open societies”. This ideology has three main axes: economic neoliberalism, respect for individual freedoms and the defense of “human rights”. To achieve these objectives, their main weapons are, among others, two: Human Rights Watch and Open Society (OS) It has donated $100 million to the first, while the second is the largest foundation it has created. The OS offers economic incentives or professional careers to the different elites, thus extending the North American political-cultural hegemony in universities, the media and civil society.

This work becomes even more important in the countries that want to be controlled. It is known that in soft coups known as “color revolutions”, the OS Foundation played an important active role. In short, Soros is prepared to protect the coups of state in order to achieve its objectives, to marginalise human rights violations and to give ideological coverage to wars.

Recently the DCLeaks website has published over 2,500 hacked files to the OS Foundation. It can be read that the OS launched plans to influence the elections to the European Parliament. On the other hand, the archives include the strategy to shape the opinion of Europeans on the 2014 coup d’état in Ukraine. In Spain, among other things, politicians, the media, journalists and academics are listed to co-opt themselves. There is also a list of Twitter’s creative views: on the one hand, thirteen addresses that are called “Ukrainian critical followers and analysts” and, on the other hand, 49 addresses as “Russian followers”.

We who are among the “Russian amateurs” are very sensitized people: There are people with extreme positions about the crisis in Ukraine, plus all kinds of grays. It's a sign of OS's radical agenda: if you don't defend my positions, you're my enemies. And believe me, I don't like the dish to be an OS enemy at university, they control a lot of resources to be able to make publications and an academic career, especially in social sciences, without which it's harder to get a way, but above all, if these are activated in the boycott against you, you can risk your professional life. Most Spanish media are well aware of this, it is no coincidence that there has been media silence on this issue, although from a democratic and journalistic point of view the data can be scandalized. How safe will journalists working as war correspondents return to Ukraine?
