Andre Zuriaren jaietako kontzertuetako batzuek: Izaki Gardenak, Niña Coyote eta Chico Tornado, Montauk, Capsula eta Willis Drummond..
What are the city festivities: the concerts that have been held throughout the year (often beyond institutional constraints) are usually more than simultaneous within a given period. Many times even vomiting. But more than complaining, it's a matter of probes, and these are the ones we were able to enjoy at the Vitoria festivities that have passed.
The first performance we saw was Gardens. They played on August 5 in the Machete Square, after midnight. It was clear that they were at home, even more so since the members of the group have moved and all have Vitoria-Gasteiz as a residence. It was a special, powerful concert, and although the square was not filled, it was obvious that people were at ease.
On day 7 you will enjoy the small tent of the txosnas Niña Coyote eta Chico Tornado. It is a band of two people, but the effects and several amplifiers, accompanied by an ear, seem to be more numerous. These resources are well used by Koldo Soret, who adds varied textures to the sound that would otherwise have been the plane. To mention one thing about the performance, I would highlight the performance of Haize Eza of the DUT group, especially for what creates the song itself, not so much for the execution of the group, which does not contribute much to the original song.
It was August 8, but it was a day marked for many of us. To begin with, those from Montauk, who only have three or four concerts, will act on the same stage as Coyote eta Tornado. Vitorians rock with intimidating dyes and play a lot with intensity. According to singer Beñat Goitia it was not the best place for them, but they defended their songs from their first album Bilaketa. The version of Ruper Ordorika Zaldiak was one of the first surprises of the night.
The trio Capsula went right away, and people rushed to approach the big stage. They started offering, in the face of a cold audience, rock songs with a touch of psychodelia. The Ikusi eta Ikasi version of Delirium Tremens did not help warm the atmosphere. And they couldn't deny that they had tried. Guitarist Martin worked non-stop on the audience's heating work. And it bore fruit: at the end of the concert, the festive atmosphere was already palpable for the I Need Somebody by Iggy Pop and the Suffragette City by David Bowie.
With that holiday atmosphere, the Willis Drummond rose up in the air. Vitoria-Gasteiz is a special city for them and for many of them it is a special group; therefore, aligned planets. Starting and ending, they offered an extraordinary concert, and once again it became clear that they are one of the strongest groups that can be heard today in the Basque Country. It is not much that in the pages of this magazine Andrea Zuboto wrote the chronicle of his EHZ concert, and since it was a little bit more or less alike, I invite you to read it.
These and more were the past parties, but we were only able to enjoy them. I hope you have chosen well. For me, at least, I was pleased.
They were all in food and drink, seemingly cheerful, but some were nervous between snacks and appetizers. He would receive the prize for the second time, but he would be the first to have it in his hands. And I was nervous because the reminder had to get to the office, damn it.... [+]
