The Voice of Transsexuals
THE PROTAGONISTS ARE THREE Ares Piñeiro, Izaro Antxia and Josebe Iturrioz. The first two are transgender people and the third one is an expert in the matter. Piñeiro and Antxia have been lost for years. However, they decided to put an end to the abrupt route. The documentary tells their experiences, their relationship with the body and the people around them. The documentary has been carried out by UPV/EHU students studying Audiovisual Communication in the Basque Country. They have had to choose a subject and have dealt enthusiastically with transsexuality, a subject which, in their view, is still taboo. The authors of the documentary are as follows: Oihane Garcia, Izaskun Gutierrez, Miren Solozabal, Naroa Garzon, Paula Ayerdi, Ainhoa Bayano, Iñigo Arizkorreta and Ane Murua.
