No! But last week, in a presentation on a YouTuber, a number of feminists appeared, shouting that he was a male chauvinist, according to the same source. Victoria, one of her best friends, really likes that youtuber and says those girls are feminazis.

It's called Dallas Review, and it has about two million subscribers through its Youtube channel. We published an article in Pikara, showing his misogynic and antifeminist discourse. The most famous YouTubers are boys, and on the pretext that they fight against political justice, they spread racist and Machistan prejudices, among others.

I've been worried. Feminists would have to walk carefully. The most famous YouTubers have millions of followers, mostly teenagers. The first contact Victoria has surely had with feminists has been the rejection of her youtuber, the most vulnerable in the world. So it hates feminists. In a workshop on social media and sexism, a 20-year-old girl told me that she was upset, that she had invited a YouTuber who liked in her village -- I think it was Wismichu -- because of pressure from the city hall and the feminists, which had finally been suspended.

I understand the craving to make feminist boikots and escraches, but given the fame of those youtubers, isn't it going to be counterproductive? How many girls are angry with feminists because we fight the communicators they admire, whether they like it or not, who are communicators? But, on the other hand, it is clear that we have to do something with those YouTubers who say that women are sluts or that allegations of male violence are false. My brother admires AuronPlay – three and a half million subscribers – because it is said to be fun, but his humor is mocking others through dirty sounds.

So what's the solution? More than bans and boycotts, I always prefer to promote the critical consumption of successful cultural products and make visible alternatives. In youth initiatives for equality, it would be good to reflect on the speeches and attitudes of YouTubers. But always with respect, because as youtubers connect with young people, they'll take a defensive attitude if we say they're stupid.

On the other hand, there are many feminist YouTubers and LGTB: Queer Avengers or RayNTG, for example. Psychowoman, a 31-year-old psychologist, has become youtuber in order to transmit messages about sexuality to adolescents. But we have to recognize that the influence of these feminist youtubers will never be so great because they break with hegemonic models of success, which have thousands of subscribers and not millions.
