I am glad that I have been bought the new album from Petti and Etxeko Uztaren, and I am listening very willingly, very gladly. They have done a very nice job. The songs are very good and they are very well composed, elaborated and produced. Some are strong, high-energy and some are softer. In the songs, passions, desires, dreams, pain and sour feelings are appreciated.
Petti is an exceptional singer, guitarist and composer, every time he sings better and plays the guitar better, and every time he creates better songs. Disco to disco always offers something new, different or special in your songs. His melodies are blues, rock and folk, but Petti has his own style, his own personality and a great heart. From its bowels comes a voice torn and deep, known, sometimes with great strength and others soft and sweet.
Astirtetan (Bonberenea Ekintzak, 2015) compiled “quite naked” songs for his previous work, in the words of Petti himself, and announced that his next work, the Chilrío he has published this year, would be “a rocker album” and would have a “more electric and robust” sound. That's right. He has done a good job with the help of Etxeko Uzta. Joseba Irazoki (electric guitars, lap steel and banjo), Igor Telletxea (drums and percussion) and Iñigo Telletxea (bass). They're great musicians and they get along very well with Petti, they've known each other since they're young and they've been playing together for some time.
The contribution of other people who have participated in the recordings should also be highlighted: Estitxu Pinatxo (voice), Txus Aranburu (keyboards), Joseba Baleztena B. Lenoir (guitar), Felix Buff (drums), Xan Bidegain (bass), Víctor Sánchez (technical), Josu Zabala (music of the song Bi bide), and the authors of the lyrics Pello Lizarralde, Eneko Barberena, Igor Elortza, Beñardo Goietxe, Juan
