That's right, as I say, we saw three amazing artists on stage. The Tomàs brothers are well known for their musical arts, creators and members of the legendary Casals quartet. As restless and restless musicians, they've created more than one training. On this occasion, together with the Israeli pianist Amir Katz, they form the trio of Ludwig, which, like the quartet, is harvesting great success all over the world.
Three threesomed works brought us into the program, which was even more wonderful. Mozart's Divertiment, so delicate, in Si Bemol Mayor, KV 254 light and playful, with wind, effortlessly, ideal to open the program. From Mozart we arrived at Beethoven. Both Mozart and Beethoven were interpreted by members of the trio Ludwig. It was really striking to say in some way the accuracy between the three and the “one breath.”
But the most beautiful work of the afternoon, no doubt, was the First Trio of Brahms in itself, op. It was 8. This is the first chamber music of the composer, composed at the age of 20, but since the first years his imagination, maturity and security were noticeable. The brothers Tomàs and Amir Katz did the work perfectly (how beautiful the Scherzo de valts was). We were few audiences, but great applause was heard. As a bis, they played the Viennese Fritz Kreisle March, very special, charming.
